Space to Do Everything
Experience Campus
Our campus is designated as an arboretum and includes the popular Root Glen and Grant Garden, several walking and cross-country trails, plenty of space for research and activities, and many quiet corners to simply enjoy the outdoors.
Our Focus on Sustainability
A Greener Hamilton
Hamilton is committed to meeting or exceeding best practices related to sustainability. As part of the College’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, it plans to invest in energy upgrades to two of its largest buildings, manage parts of campus to increase carbon sequestration in its lands, and continue to study and implement additional opportunities for emission reductions. Hamilton has partnered with Siemens to significantly cut energy consumption and emissions while modernizing key campus spaces to operate more efficiently for generations of future students to enjoy, and support a more sustainable campus environment for current and future students.
Commitment to Campus Accessibility
Hamilton values accessibility as one of many forms of inclusivity and routinely makes improvements across campus and prioritizes accessibility with every major renovation. Additionally, the College has committed to budgeting $500,000 each year, on average, for accessibility-related projects. A few recent and upcoming projects are highlighted below.
