Addressing Mail
- Students are assigned a mailbox number that they will keep during their four years enrolled at Hamilton.
- Using the correct address will ensure timely delivery of all mail and packages to your student.
Please always use the student's full name and mailbox number on all letters and packages.

- Amazon Deliveries — When ordering from Amazon, please address as shown above to ensure that your packages get delivered to the mail center. If the option is available, please pick the time of the mail center's operations from 10:00am to 4:00pm to ensure that packages aren't left in an unsecure location after hours.
- Please mail early — allow enough time for your package to make its way through the USPS and other delivery systems to ensure your package arrives in a timely manner.
- Always provide a return address on your mail or package and mark it appropriately if it is perishable or fragile.
- If you are ordering something online for a student and are using a credit card that bears your name, please be sure that the student's name and mailbox number appear on the package.
- Packages that are not picked up after two weeks from the date received at the Mail Center will be returned to the sender. The Mail center sends an initial email when packages are received and will send a separate email before returning any package. The USPS, UPS and FedEx, per their policies, will not allow us to forward packages to a different address; all packages will be returned to the original sender.
- Please never send cash through the mail to a student. It is safer to deposit money on their Hill Card.
