LITS has been busy of late adding capacity to our campus Wi-Fi network to include more outdoor spaces. This is being done, in part, to help with courses that will be held outside and to provide enhanced coverage in popular outdoor locations.

LITS is thrilled to announce that Hamilton College has now college-wide licenses for Mathematica (which has many mathematical software tools) and Overleaf (a technical typesetting platform).

LITS is pleased to announce the availability of a new digital collection, World Echo, a publication by Father Divine's International Peace Mission Movement. Father Divine's International Peace Mission Movement is based at Woodmont outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The LITS Audiovisual Team has been quite busy installing articulating arms with meetup cameras in many of the classrooms across campus. Forrest Warner, Video Support Specialist on the Audiovisual Team, has put together a fantastic instructional video on how to use these arms and other new technology in the classroom.

Working remotely brings new issues to light in regard to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and it is critically important that we remain committed to these issues while normalcy is interrupted.

Library and Information Technology Services is offering twenty grants of up to $300 each to faculty interested in participating in online educational opportunities focused on teaching and learning in a digital environment. Grant awards may be used to offset the costs of registration for workshops and classes.
