At Hamilton, relationships and personal connections matter … and that relationship begins when you are in the college search process. One of the best ways to explore your potential fit with Hamilton and connect with the admission office is through a personal interview. Our panelists will provide admission interview tips, highlight ways to make the most of your interview experience at Hamilton (and we suppose elsewhere, if you must!), and answer all of your questions.
Admission and Financial Aid Advice from “The Room Where it Happens”

You and your family are invited to join members of our Admission and Financial Aid leadership team in “The Room Where it Happens” (that is a reference to our favorite Broadway show, for those paying attention). Our panelists will answer your questions and provide guidance on topics that may be on your mind as you navigate your college search.
International Student Life at Hamilton
Tuesday, October 30, 8 a.m.
Moderated by Senior Assistant Dean of Admission Addie Bartlett, this panel will feature current Hamilton students from across the globe. We’re proud of the wide range of students from diverse backgrounds who are on College Hill. On our campus this year are students from 50 states and 56 countries, with international students comprising a little over 8% of our student body. We recognize you will have many choices in your college search, whether you decide to pursue a degree in your home country or abroad, and this session will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about what makes Hamilton College such an excellent option for students from around the world.

College Essay Writing Tips from Admission Officers - Held on Tuesday, September 10
Working on your college essay can be a stressful experience — but it doesn’t need to be if you have the right attitude and guidance to keep you on track. That’s what our admission officers will provide in this interactive panel discussion. While we’re not looking for perfection in your essay, we do hope to get to know you better through your writing, and we’ll share some ideas and best practices to keep in mind when you sit down to write your essays this fall.

Our Generous Financial Aid - Held on August 27, 2024

We know that the world of college financial aid can be overwhelming for many students and their families as it adds another layer of complexity to an already stressful college application process. It doesn’t have to be confusing! At this event, we demystify the process of applying for financial aid, talk about our generous resources, and provide some guidelines and financing options for you and your family to think about as you consider this important investment.
