Hamilton College offers group visits for schools and community-based organizations looking to bring 5 or more high school students for an information session and/or campus tour. Each visit includes a student-led campus tour, followed by a brief information session with an Admission Officer.

Group visits are available Monday - Friday. Visits are subject to the academic calendar and the availability of admission staff and student tour guides. We are currently booking group visits through May 7, 2026. Hamilton College is on Spring Recess from March 16 - March 27. Group visits will not be offered during this time.

Group Visit Schedule:

  • 11:20 a.m. Arrival
  • 11:30 a.m. Campus Tour
  • 12:30 p.m. Information Session / Q&A with an Admission Officer
  • Optional: 1:00 p.m. Lunch in Commons Dining Hall ($11.31 per meal)

Groups wishing to visit Hamilton should submit a request at least two weeks prior to the anticipated visit date; we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate late requests.

Please do not make travel arrangements until you receive confirmation from our Group Visit Coordinator.

Directions and parking instructions will be provided to your group's contact by our Admission Visit Coordinator when your visit is confirmed.

Don’t panic! We understand! Please call the front desk at 800-843-2655 to let us know your anticipated arrival time. Please be aware certain aspects of your visit may be cancelled if you arrive late.

If you are coming to campus with a group of 5 or fewer students, you do not need to register for a Group Visit. You are welcome to register for our daily campus visit opportunities. Note that each student needs to be registered individually.

Visits are subject to the academic calendar and the availability of admission staff and student tour guides. Our group visit coordinator will work with you to try and find a date that works for your group.

Please contact Courtney Combs, campus visit coordinator, at ccombs@hamilton.edu at least three days in advance if you can no longer make your Group Visit. If you would like to reschedule, please cancel the previous request via email and sign up for a new time slot on the Group Visit Registration Page.

We are happy to hear that you would like to host an event for prospective students! Please contact Courtney Combs, campus visit coordinator, at ccombs@hamilton.edu to coordinate your tour. We cannot guarantee that tour guides will be available for your anticipated event date, but we will do our best to accommodate you in our busy tour schedule.
