All Courses

Students are expected to take active responsibility for their own learning, demonstrating the self-discipline and motivation characteristic of independent work. Courses are not self-paced, however; they follow established curricula, and students must be ready to make a daily commitment to study and practice using written, recorded, and digital materials. Class sessions are highly interactive and conducted almost entirely in the target language. Midterm and final exams, administered by external examiners, determine course grades.
