Provides an introduction to choreographic creation through imagery, improvisation, and embodied exploration. The course emphasizes developing personal movement vocabularies and creative strategies for making dance, with attention to phrasing and structure. Students will experiment with tools including music, costume, props, and basic production elements to create and refine original movement. No prior choreography experience required.
