Topics may include immune tolerance, checkpoint regulation, vaccines, cellular and antibody therapies, and strategies for modulating tissue-specific immunity. Emphasis is placed on close, critical reading of experimental literature and on evaluating current approaches and their limitations in the field through class discussion, written and oral critiques, and an individual final project focused on a current question in immunotherapy research.
