Course Description: Introduction to life in the sea from a global, ecological and evolutionary perspective. Study of marine habitats, food webs, biodiversity, ecological processes, adaptations of marine organisms and human impacts on marine life. Three hours of class and three hours of lab per week. See notes (below) regarding required field trip. 
Comments: Students must also register for a BIO 213 lab. One required weekend field trip to the coast: April 6-7 OR April 20-21. See department for details.
