What You’ll Study
Students may pursue graduate study through these programs:
Teaching and Teacher Leadership (TTL)
This program prepares future teachers and educational leaders to create transformative learning experiences. Depending on their goals and experience, students may pursue pathways leading to classroom teaching, teacher licensure, instructional leadership, curriculum development, or educational innovation.
Human Development and Education (HDE)
This program explores how people learn and develop across the lifespan. Students examine the cognitive, social, emotional, and cultural factors that shape learning and prepare for careers in education, counseling, nonprofits, research, and related fields. Note: This program does not provide counseling licensure.
Requirements & Considerations
- Remain in good academic and disciplinary standing
- Complete Hamilton degree requirements
- Participate in relevant professional or applied learning experiences during your undergraduate career
- Final admission is confirmed during senior year
Eligibility
Students entering Hamilton in Fall 2027 and future classes are eligible for this pathway.
