VVS Students Visit Burke Library

LITS was thrilled to host twenty five seniors from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School on Wednesday, May 20.  Tina Laramie, High School Library Media Specialist, accompanied by teachers Melanie Hoover and Beth Debany, brought both the AP English and AP Biology classes to Burke for the morning.  All of the students are college-bound and getting an introduction to research at the college level can be crucial to their success next year. 

Professors Karen Brewer and David Gapp also gave the students an overview of their laboratories and how they involve students in their research. 

VVS has been bringing students to Hamilton College for several years now, and we welcome their visits.
