October 20, 2015
Kristin Strohmeyer, Research and Outreach Librarian, recently spoke at the October 19 NERCOMP workshop, "Peer to Peer Outreach: Involving Students in Library Operations and Promotion" held in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Strohmeyer's presentation, "Making Students Part of the Team: The LITS Ambassador Program at Hamilton College," focused on the LITS Ambassador program. LITS Ambassadors assist with the planning, implementation, communication, and support of LITS initiatives, policies, and resources, serve on the LITS Faculty Committee, and represent LITS in the Student Assembly. During this presentation, she discussed the structure of the program, revealed some "aha moments" in the day of the life of a student, and talked about plans for the program in the future.
