Assistant Professor of Theatre Emily K. Harrison recently presented a paper titled “Playing JonBenét” at the 2026 Mid America Theatre Conference, held in Pittsburgh.
Harrison's research, presented as part of the Practice and Production Symposium, focused on the embodied experience of playing the role of JonBenét Ramsey in the Regional Premiere of Gregory S. Moss's House of Gold. Harrison also served as an actor in staged readings of two new plays at the conference as part of the Playwriting Symposium.
