Assistant Professor of Theatre Emily K. Harrison recently participated in the 2025 Indy Convergence, an intensive artist residency based in Indianapolis that brings artists of all disciplines together for two weeks of project development.
While in residence, Harrison led a small team of artists from across the country in early stages development of a new devised work called Pretty Girls Over Time. In addition to her own project, she collaborated with theatre director Leila Ghaznavi on the development of Beyond the Light, an evolving work of puppet theatre; and with movement artist Janna Meiring on the development of Ocean Bodies, a performance installation premiering in 2026.
