Amy Gaffney, director of the Oral Communication Center, presented a paper titled "Applying Communication Center Work to Supporting Oral Exams" at the National Association of Communication Centers annual Excellence at the Center conference, April 9-11 at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Gaffney won the Joyce Ferguson Faculty Research Paper Award for the project; this award is given annually at the conference and is sponsored by the National Communication Association's Communication Centers section. Gaffney presented on three other panels at the conference, including two with current Hamilton students who work in the Oral Communication Center.
