Jess Buttery, assistant professor of instruction in theatre and production manager, chaired and presented a session titled “Business of Making Art: Careers in Theater Management” at the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) Annual Conference in Long Beach, Calif., March 17-22.
The session, presented with a panel of theatre management professionals, examined diverse career paths in arts administration and offered guidance for students and early-career artists interested in leadership roles in the performing arts.
