Despite an angry Mother Nature who did all she could to disrupt outdoor plans, Hamilton’s annual Fallcoming/Family Weekend was a lively and event-packed success. Among highlights were dedication of The Joel and Beth Johnson Health and Wellness Center, a Common Ground discussion between Mike Dubke ’92 and Marc Elias ’92 about the mid-term elections, and Penny Watras Dana’s honor as Volunteer of the Year.

Jeff Larson, resident designer and production manager for Theatre, took a group of Theatre students to the Stanley Theater in Utica last week, where they were given an in-depth backstage tour by Tony winning sound designer Scott Lehrer of the upcoming national touring production of “Hello Dolly.”

Hockey’s Stanley Cup made an appearance at Sage Rink on Sept. 23 as part of Clinton’s Hockeyville celebration. Clinton, N.Y., winner of the Kraft Hockeyville USA contest, will host a preseason game between the Buffalo Sabres and Columbus Blue Jackets on Sept. 25 at the Clinton area.
