For over 30 years, Bard Graduate Center has been training the next generation of curators, researchers, and museum and arts professionals. Our MA/PhD program offers a broad exploration of history through its material traces, drawing on methodologies and approaches from art and design history, philosophy, cultural history, and anthropology and archaeology, and our students come from diverse academic backgrounds, including art history, anthropology, religious studies, history, and classics.
