Information Sessions

Come share your study abroad story with other students! Tell us why you went abroad (or why you want to go abroad in the future), share your proudest moment or a study abroad "blooper," let other students know what challenged or excited you, and more. Students who share a story and follow us on Instagram will get a delicious treat. 

Join us for an info session to learn about Bard College Berlin’s semester and year-long opportunities through the LAB: Liberal Arts Berlin and Arts and Society in Berlin programs. Explore how these immersive, interdisciplinary experiences connect the humanities, social sciences, and the arts with Berlin’s vibrant intellectual and cultural landscape.

Getting ready to put your study abroad/away plan together? Come learn about the nuts and bolts of study abroad and off-campus study. A Global Learning advisor will walk you through all the steps of planning, applying, and getting ready to depart.

During event students will gain exposure to a number of Hamilton approved programs and learn about the opportunities for study abroad from peers. There will be roughly 20 volunteers from last year's study abroad class at the event to answer questions and talk about their experiences.

Global Ambassadors and study abroad alumni will do a deep dive into the most common questions about studying abroad. Catering by Lafa's. Hosted by the Language Center.

Students going abroad for the Fall 2026 or academic year 2026-2027 semester must attend a Hamilton Pre-Departure Orientation. This session is for all students going abroad. Students participating in HCAYS, Hamilton in France, DIS programs in Stockholm and Copenhagen, and programs in Asia will have the option to participate in a specialized pre-departure orientation.
