Canceling Appointments

Go to the list of Upcoming Appointments on your TracCloud homepage. Click the X next to the one you want to cancel. You must cancel at least 2 hours in advance.

Excessive last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may affect your ability to book future appointments.

Submitting Drafts

If you have a draft, you must email it and your assignment to wcpapers@hamilton.edu:

0-5 pages, at least 2 hours before your conference.                                                                                            6-9 pages, 12 or more hours before your conference.                                                                                      10-20 pages, 24 or more hours before your conference.

We can only discuss 20 pages maximum per conference. If you are working on a longer draft, you will need to schedule multiple conferences.

Conference Tips

You can use a conference to begin the writing process–to create an outline or expand one, or to brainstorm ideas, thesis statements, etc.

We can support writing you’re doing outside of your courses, including on resumes, cover letters, personal statements, and scholarship essays.

TracCloud shows the tutor associated with each appointment in the upper-right corner of the booking selections. You can click on the name to see the tutor’s bio. Our website also shows all of our tutors and their bios.

My tutor was amazing. She listened to my questions and helped make suggestions about where I could add information, explain more, and tighten prose. She was critical without criticizing, clearly explained concerns, and then gave her suggestions.
