The Syracuse Orchestra returns to Hamilton College with Jiebing Chen, erhu, performing The Butterfly Lovers Concerto, originally written for violin. Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Christian liturgical season of Lent, where Christians intentionally enter into an annual season of repentance, mortality, and renewal. On Ash Wednesday, Christians receive an outward sign of ashes on the forehead or hand. If you would like to receive a sign of Ash on your forehead or hand, come by this afternoon.
