Hamilton Community:
As we finish our semester this week, we will be working under the great strain of the recent tragedy at Brown University. It is difficult and painful to process the number of incidents on college campuses, places where we should be focused on learning and understanding, places that should be safe.
This type of violence is a plague on our social fabric and our shared humanity. The attack in Sydney, Australia at a Hanukkah festival, less than 24 hours after the Brown shooting, is also heartbreaking and deeply upsetting.

Please join us for a silent walk on Wednesday morning at 8 a.m., starting at the Chapel, to bear witness to the victims of these crimes and to be together in fellowship and community.
