Potential gifts and purchases are reviewed at a quarterly meeting of the Committee on Public Art (CPA). The CPA will consider the proposed gift or purchase, including an installation site. Potential donors/purchasers are notified of the outcome by the CPA Chair. Gifts of public art are not insured, and the College is not responsible for maintaining the object/item. In fact, the CPA may need from time to time review whether accepted gifts of public art may need to be disposed of or sold.
