Assistant Professor of Chemistry Ryan Martinie and Nyaari Kothiya ’23, along with collaborators at Pennsylvania State University, have published an article in the journal Biochemistry.
The study involves the molecular details of how Chlamydia trachomatis produces deoxyribonucleotides, the essential precursors to DNA. The article is freely available here.
Not only did Associate Professor of Chemistry Max Majireck and 20 students and recent graduates from his lab co-author the peer-reviewed cover article for the Nov. 22, 2024, issue of Organic Letters, but one of those students – Chrissy Crespo ’25 – designed the cover.
