Associate Professor of Hispanic Studies Jessica Burke and several Hispanic Studies students recently joined a group of Syracuse University students, faculty, and staff for a poster presentation on “Language Study as a Gateway to the Humanities.” The project was funded by the CNY Humanities Corridor, which explores how the study of world languages connects students with other areas of the humanities. The event took place at Bird Library in Syracuse.

The students presented posters and discussed their work with other presenters and attendees. Their work will also be published in the open-access institutional repository SURFACE, a service of Syracuse University’s libraries.
