In an email to the Hamilton community on Feb. 5, President Joan Stewart announced the death of Master Maintenance Mechanic Ray Barretta.
I write with great sorrow to let you know that Ray Barretta, Master Maintenance Mechanic, died yesterday in a snowmobiling accident. Ray lived in New Hartford with his family and worked at the College for more than 14 years. Details regarding services are not yet known – but what is known is that he will be terribly missed by those of us fortunate enough to have worked with him. Our hearts go out to his family.
