Ann Owen, the Henry Platt Bristol Chair of Public Policy and Professor of Economics, recently presented at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Along with Andrew Wei ’20 and Federal Reserve economist and former Hamilton professor Judit Temesvary, she discussed gender and professional networks on bank boards in a presentation for the Economics Department. Wei is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at Cornell University.
In a colloquium sponsored by UC Boulder’s Integrative Physiology Department, Owen presented teaching evaluation work she did with Associate Professor of Government Erica De Bruin and Steve Wu, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics.
This topic is relevant, she explained, “as the department is undergoing an assessment of their own system of teaching evaluation and they were interested in learning about the research conducted at Hamilton and recently published in Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education.”
