Work by Professor of Art Katharine Kuharic is included in I’ll Be Your Mirror: Reflections of the Contemporary Queer. The biennial exhibition, which takes place at 11 Detroit galleries, runs through June 30.
According to the exhibition website, I’ll Be Your Mirror “examines timeless issues, which are especially relevant in the current political atmosphere when the freedom to express visibility is under mounting assault.”
The exhibition features more than 800 pieces of art by more than 180 artists. Participating galleries included are Anton Art Center, the CARR center, CCS-Center Galleries, Detroit Artists Market, detroit contemporary, Elaine Jacob Gallery, Galerie Camille, Kayrod Gallery, Hatch Art, Irwin House, and Scarab Club.
