Alumna author Annie Hartnett ’08 returned to Hamilton for a reading of her novel Rabbit Cake on March 6. Named a best book of 2017 by Kirkus Reviews, Rabbit Cake was a finalist for the New England Book Award and longlisted for the Center of Fictions First Novel Prize Hartnett teaches the Novel Generator Program at Grub Street, a non-profit creative writing center in Boston.
After her reading, she talked about how Hamilton helped her find her voice as a writer and shared some advice for aspiring writers with Kyra Richardson ’21.
