Alice Davis Tornquist ’86
Alice came to Hamilton from Shaker Heights, Ohio. After majoring in history, she went on to receive a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University. In 2001, after working for both the Office of Management and Budget and for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, she joined the wireless technology company Qualcomm where she rose to be vice president of government affairs before retiring in 2021. In addition, Alice served as chair of the board of directors of the CTIA Wireless Foundation and on the board of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America as well as the Women’s High-Tech Coalition. She was also a member of the board of trustees of Camp Dudley, where she served as chair of the audit committee. Alice is a Levitt Center and Career Center volunteer, and has hosted Hamilton events in Washington, D.C. She serves as the Class of 1986 gift chair.

After Hamilton: With a JD and MBA from the University of Richmond, Vidal is a vice president and general counsel at CareScout.
Vidal Torres ’00, P’29
A computer science and government double major at Hamilton, Vidal and his wife, Jazmín Gatto de Torres ’02, live in Richmond, Va. As a student, Vidal was a member of Alpha Delta Phi and participated in WHCL, Hamilton’s TV show, Panorama, and La Vanguardia. Following his graduation, he received a Juris Doctor and an MBA from the University of Richmond. He has worked for Genworth Financial since 2003, becoming vice president in 2018 and the general counsel for its care services division, CareScout, in 2021. Vidal served on the Multicultural Alumni Relations Committee (MARC) as co-ambassador of the Richmond Anytown region, on the Nominations Committee of the Alumni Council, and as a Hamilton admission volunteer. He began a two-year term as vice chair of the Hamilton Fund in July 2023.
Note: Due to a temporary and unforeseen professional obligation, the term for one of the three original newly elected trustees has been modified to begin in 2026 rather than 2025. Following our established procedure, the Alumni Council has voted to nominate Kiki Yang ’00 to serve a term on the Board of Trustees beginning July 1, 2025.
