Event Description

Quantitative Finance is where mathematics and financial markets come together, offering exciting career paths for math and STEM majors. This talk will show how ideas from probability, statistics, calculus, and linear algebra are used in areas like risk management and investment strategies, and why Math and STEM students are well-prepared for this field. We’ll also discuss how building skills in coding and data analysis, along with pursuing a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance at Fordham, can open the door to a rewarding career as a “quant.” Register here
