An Inside Look at Internships, with the Hamilton Career Center

Take a deep dive into internships with Executive Director Melissa Marietta and Director of Employer Engagement Abby Taylor of Hamilton’s Maurice Horowitch Career Center. We will cover the following questions: why internships are so important for college students now, how their significance has changed over time, who offers them, how to research options (even niche ones), how to apply for them in a competitive landscape, and the steps our staff take to prepare and assist students in securing these positions, as well as varied funding opportunities that alumni can support. This presentation is sponsored by the 50th reunion Class of 1976 and their class legacy gift supporting the Career Center and internship funding. It is open to all.
