Event Description

The Levitt Center invites you to a Community Conversation on the Cell Phone Bans in Schools.  Please register for lunch here.

So far, 18 states plus D.C. and the Virgin Islands have completely banned cell phones in schools, and 16 more states have partial or planned bans. Will this help kids focus? Could it improve mental health and community among students? Should parents be worried about contacting their kids in an emergency? Is it an overreach of power? Should colleges consider something similar? How would that impact your student experience? Join us for lunch and conversation. Lafa will be provided!

The Levitt Center will follow up with a confirmation once you have registered.

This is a Crossroads Event. Community Conversations are made possible by The Alan McCullough, Jr. Fund for Applied Philosophy.
