Fiorella Pizzolon
Assistant Professor of Economics
Fiorella Pizzolon earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from the University of Virginia. She also received a B.S. in economics from Universidad ORT, in her native Uruguay. Pizzolon's research interests are in macroeconomics and international finance, with a focus on monetary and fiscal policy and sovereign debt composition. She spent over a decade teaching economics and quantitative methods at the University of Virginia and Universidad ORT. Pizzolon was a research assistant at the University of Virginia, the Inter-American Development Bank, and CINVE, a Uruguayan think tank.
