Common Ground Events

Event Description

Common Ground is hosting a campus-wide dialogue on the guiding question: "AI: A Force for Good or Bad?" This is an opportunity to talk about the good, the bad, and the unknown effects of artificial intelligence. We will have dinner from Minar.

Unlike a debate, this dialogue won’t have fixed positions or formal sides. Instead, it’s an open conversation where perspectives from every angle are welcome. There will be pre-selected opening speakers, and then the floor is open for attendees to speak and respond to other speakers.

Each speaker will have about two minutes to present their perspective, either prepared in advance or delivered extemporaneously—whichever feels most natural to you. No need to memorize anything—just bring your authentic ideas!
