Event Description

Common Ground speakers will examine the power and responsibility of the President and its limitations. The speakers are Jack Goldsmith and Bob Bauer, co-authors of "After Trump: Reconstructing the Presidency". Bob Bauer previously served in government as White House Counsel to President Barack Obama. He now teaches at New York University School of Law. Jack Goldsmith previously served as Assistant Attorney General, Office of Legal Counsel during the George W. Bush administration. He now teaches at Harvard Law School.
