Creating Inclusive Classrooms through Universal Design for Learning.

Presenter: Emily J. Helft, Assistant Director of Professional Development at Landmark College

Description: The modern 2025 classroom is more diverse than ever before, and educators are more invested than ever in understanding how to support students with highly differing preferences and needs. This presentation will serve as an introduction to the three pillars of Universal Design for Learning 3.0 that are the hallmarks of the new “ERA” of teaching. Content will cover a combination of theory, experiential activities, and examples. The workshop will end with strategy suggestions and attendees will enjoy dedicated time for application that is personally meaningful to their circumstances. 

Participants will need to bring a pen/pencil and have access to a mobile device and/or laptop
