Wellin Kids Spring Programming Begins

On Monday January 19, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Wellin Museum is hosted its first Wellin Kids event of the Spring 2015 semester Super String Art. The activity was inspired by artwork White Fold, a piece currently on view in the exhibition Alyson Shotz: Force of Nature. The program involved weaving and lacing string through paper, allowing the kids to create their own version of Shotz's White Fold. This was a free event open to local families and included guided tours, Seek and Find activities, and treats.
